Khanh Hoa Province targets an export turnover of USD406 million by 2015 (an average increase of 5% per year) and a fishery export yield of 63,200 tons (an average increase of 5% per year), according to the provincial Fishery Export Development Program.
Main fishery exports are shrimp, squid, mackerel, tuna, grouper, arca, oyster and others.
To reach the target, beside traditional markets such as the US, Japan and Europe, the export will be expanded to new markets like China, Korea, South America, Mideast countries and Southeast Asia.
