Sustainable trademark
In ten recent years, Khatoco has operated stably and developed sustainably. Its annual delivery makes up 1/3 of Khanh Hoa Province’s State budget income. In 2012, in the difficult situation of the economy, Khatoco still fulfilled its target. Moreover, with comprehensive investment in human and technology, products and services of the corporation have improved continuously and been appreciated highly by consumers not only in the country but abroad as well. In 2012, Khatoco inaugurated a stem loosening plant worth VND420 billion with a capacity of 18,000 ton per year, raising its total industrial production value by VND133 billion a year.

In the time to come, Khatoco will pour more investment to increase capacity of material and product warehouse with 40,000 sq.m. in area and professional equipment. Additionally, the corporation will find best solutions towards a cleaner production and put into operation a modern 6-color offset printing line with an investment of VND55 billion.

At present, Khatoco’s main industries are cigarette production, packing printing and production, textile garment and fashion design, hotel and tourist services, lower layer investment for industrial zones, breeding and after-breeding processing and commerce – import export. Up to now, Khatoco trademark has stood firmly in the domestic market and expanded to international markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Holland, Germany, Korea and China.

According to the Project for the period of 2012 – 2015 adopted by the Government, Khatoco will be structuralized according to norms as follows: arranging and renovating the business towards developing effective and potential industries, curtailing ineffective ones, reducing the number of joint stock companies controlled by the corporation and shifting possession form of businesses posted by the corporation. In the restructure process, Khatoco targets at a leading business in strong economic potentials, trademark and scale in the Central region as well as the country. To reach the target, along with perfecting the structure and industries, the corporation will follow economic tendencies of the country as well as the world to have proper solutions to each of its industries and subsidiary companies.
