According to the socioeconomic development planning till 2015 and towards 2020, Cam Ranh City will invest many water supply works.
Accordingly, water reservoir of Can river will be built to supply water for 250 hectares of farm land, 100 hectares of aquaculture, two communes Cam Thinh Dong and Cam Thinh Tay, Southern Cam Ranh Industrial Zone; a fresh water reservoir will be built for a Cam Lap tourist area; Quang Phuc lake will be built to serve agricultural and industrial production in the northern communes and canal system of Ta Ruc lake to supply water for the city with more than 24,000m3 a day.
