With a lot of effective measures, solving capital lack for enterprises in Khanh Hoa Province has showed positive signs.

. Solutions from credit institutions

To solve difficulties for enterprises to recover production and business, credit institutions in Khanh Hoa Province has checked debts, evaluated payments, adjust repayment periods and consider the remission of interests to many borrowers, according to Nguyen Hoai Chieu, the deputy director of the State Bank – Khanh Hoa Branch.

At present, most credit institutions are offering preferential credit packages to borrowers. In the first three months, 184 enterprises and nearly 4000 households got incentive credits worth VND1,124 billion in total with interests of 8.8% - 11% per annum for VND and 3.5% - 6.8% per annum for USD. Credit loans of the whole province reached VND22,259 billion, increasing by 1.17% by the beginning of the year. Of the figure, preferential loans for small and medium-sized enterprises to develop export, agriculture and rural areas made up 54%.

In addition, credit institutions have continued pouring effective projects according to economic development targets of the province. The credit capital has given priority to agriculture, production for export, small and medium-sized enterprises, subsidiary industries, high technology applying enterprises, businesses with numerous laborers and effective projects.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Planning and Investment has checked administrative formalities, disclose procedures and preferential policies, lessen time to solve files and facilitate businesses.

Moreover, owning to positive solutions to production, business, market, bad debts and credit  policies of Resolution 13 and 02 of the Government, enterprises in the province gradually stabilized production.

There were positive changes in the first quarter of 2013. In the whole province, 372 new enterprises were established, increasing by 33.33% year-on-year and their registered capital was VND4600 billion, rising by 270% year-on-year while only 96 enterprises were dissolved, falling by 17.95% in comparison to the same period last year.
