After 3 months of building, Ship Manufacture and Research Institute of Nha Trang University, has just launched a composite fishing boat named Quang Cuong 2013.

The fishing boat, 25.5 meters in length, 5.35 meters in width and 2.6 meters in height, has a 620-horsepower main engine imported from Sweden and a 100-horsepower secondary one imported from Korea. The ship can run at a speed of 12 nautical miles per hour and in the condition of level-7 waves.
The boat, made of composite, has expiry date of 20 years, low-cost maintenance, high stability, water resistance and good sustainment.
