To confront the heat, many people have bought cooling products such as air-conditioners and steam fans, which makes the market busier these days.
Nguyen Chanh Bon, the owner of Chanh Bon electronic store, a big one in Nha Trang, said, “This time, we can averagely sell 30 air-conditioners a day, 5 - 6 times as much as normal.”

In smaller electronic stores, sales of fans of all kinds also have risen by 2 – 3 times over normal.
Beside this, because of the big demand, services of installation and repair also have increased 7 – 10% in price.
Tran Van Binh, a person living in Phuoc Hoa Ward, Nha Trang, said, “When my fridge broke down several months ago, it cost me VND200,000 for repair. But now, the charge has gone up by VND20,000.”
. Sunwear sell well
Sunwear like gloves, masks,…also sells well these days.
“Sun coat sales have risen twofold this month”, revealed Nguyen Thị Quy, a seller at Xom Moi Market, Nha Trang.
The market this year also sees sun dresses which are designed colorfully and beautifully.
Sun coats and sun dresses are selling at VND80,000 – VND200,000 each, a 10% increase compared to last year.
Sun cream and whitening cream also are sought.
“Sun cream is the best seller now, especially the products with natural agents such as cucumber, green tea, aloe vera and seaweed,” said a seller at Dam Market.
However, some kinds of cosmetics sold at markets are fake. Consumers should be cautious when buying them.
