In recent years, along with durians, some farmers in Khanh Son District, Khanh Hoa Province have started planting mangosteen trees. Up to now, over 30 hectares of mangosteen trees have been grown.
At present, the farmers are harvesting mangosteens. Each tree gives from 40 kilograms and 100 kilograms. A kilogram of mangosteens is selling at VND35,000 – VND45,000. After expenses, about VND1 million is earned from each tree.
