From 2004 up to now, Khatoco Ninh Hoa Ostrich Breeding Center has expanded its flock to 15,000 ostriches raised three communes Ninh Phung, Ninh Than and Ninh Tay, Ninh Hoa Township, Khanh Hoa Province.

At present, there are ostrich raisers who do outwork for businesses or set up their own farms up to 500 – 700 ostriches. Ostrich meat and eggs are nutritious while their skin can be produced wallets, purses, bells or shoes.
