Purchase power of cooling products in electronics stores in Nha Trang is rising. Nguyen Chanh Bon, the owner Chanh Bon Electronics Store, revealed, “The purchase power has increased since early April. In comparison with January and February, air-conditioner sales now have gone up by 50%. The cooling products will be best-selling in May and June.”
Current prices of air-conditioners with familiar brands such as Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Samsung, LG, Sharp and Toshiba, have few changes over last season. According to a salesman in Dai Thanh Electronics Store, consumers now like economical air-conditioners which can save 30 – 50% of the energy compared to previous products.
Along with air-conditioners, fridges and fans also sell well these days. Many kinds of fans are on sale in many stores in streets Quang Trung, Le Thanh Ton, 2-4, Thai Nguyen, etc. Fans with Vietnamese brands such as Asia and Quatvina are favorite of many consumers.
Other sun products such as face masks, gloves and coats also enjoy large custom. Their prices seem to be unchanged compared to last year. Sun cream also goes like hot cakes.

To stimulate purchase power, electronics stores have offered a lot of promotional programs.
