According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, in the first five months of the year, there are 40 provinces and cities of the country attracting new FDI projects.
The newly licensed projects are by 36 countries and territories, led by Korea with USD945.1 million, Hong Kong with USD543.3 million, Singapore with USD363.9 million, Indonesia with VND352.7 million and Japan with USD264 million.
The new foreign investment is on the rise and is forecast to keep rising in the coming months.
