The total fishery yield of the whole country in the past nine months has reached 4,735 million tons, increasing by 4.8% in comparison with the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Of the sum, the exploited yield is about 2,244 million tons, a 4.7% rise year-on-year, and the aquaculture yield is 2,491 million tons, a 4.9% rise year-on-year.
The weather so far this year has been rather favorbale to fishing. Besides, off-shore combinations forming in some localities have help fishing more effectively. The support from the State for fishermen also has encourage them to invest in off-shore fishing.
