A workshop on building trademark and keeping information safe in business administration was held in Nha Trang on September 27. This is an exchange for businesses aim to raise capacities of competition, administration and trademark building.

 

The workshop was participated by members of four provincial associations, including Informatics Association, Tourism Association, Young Businessmen’s Association and Businesswomen’s Association.

 

At the workshop, representatives of the four associations signed a cooperation program deploying activities related to information technology and communications in the province. Accordingly, the sides pledged to joinly build their websites towards applying new technologies to advertise for member businesses, set up preferential policies as well as organize scientific seminars, exhibitions and training courses to support them. In addition, the associations committed to support each other in staff training, jointly research projects for business administration, enhance competition capacity and hold sports activities, social works and cultural exchanges to tie the relationship.

At the workshop, two topics, namely Techniques to build up trademark on Internet and Information safety  on mobile devices and infrastructures in businesses, were given much care.

 

Huynh Ngoc Duy, representatives of Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM), shared Internet applications in building trademark with the businesses. He directed how the businesses use Internet to introduce themselves and build trademark effectively. Some ways are PR articles, search tools, social networks, e-commerce websites and so on.

 

Information technology is a very useful mean for business administration, but its reverses may cause the risk of information unsafety or leak. In order to help the businesses raise information security skills, Ph. D Pham Van Hau from University of Information Technology – Ho Chi Minh City introduced solutions to keep information safety for mobile devices.

 

The knowledge presented at the workshop has partly supported the businesses in administration and trademark building.

 

Tran Chien, director of Anh Viet Sports New Co., Ltd., said, “Internet is a low-cost but effective channel to PR. The content learned from the workshop may be applied for my company’s website immediately.”
