The development of Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area are meeting difficulties due to many projects in slow process. To impulse the tourist area, some solutions have been put forth.

According to the Management Board of Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area, 37 projects with 1,235 hectares in scale and VND20,242 billion in capital have registered to invest in the tourist areas so far. Of the sum, 19 projects have been licensed for construction, one has been put into operation for the first stage, and 17 are in investment proceedings or ground clearance.

Director of the Management Board of Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area Nguyen Ngoc Loan revealed that some of the projects did invesment proceedings more slowly than the time fixed in their investment certificate while some are in late progress.

Many reasons account for the situation. Objectively, it may be due to the economic crisis causing difficulties for investment or slow ground clearance. Subjectively, some investors are weak in finance and experience to execute their project.

From early 2013 up to now, to forward the development of Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area, the provincial authority has checked investors' capacity and delivered new policies which are suitable with the reality. Beside permitting investors to adjust land use forms and facilitating them to step up investement, the provincial authority resolately revoked investment certificate of  8 stalled projects and required deposits from investors to ensure their project implementation. Until now, there are 10 projects hastened by investors. Some of them are Fusion Maia Nha Trang Resort, Bien Dong Resort and Duyen Ha Resort.

The Management Board of Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area has set a target that by the end of this year, all the investors will have completed investment proceedings, one or two projects will be put into operation, and by the end of 2015, 7 - 8 projects will start operation. To reach the target, solutions need to be done comprehensively. Checking investors' capacity and revoking incapable projects and unreasonably slow ones have to be focused. Investors who have paid land rent on account, have to deposit as a security if their project is under late process. In case they don't deposit as a security, their projects will be revoked to call for new investors. In addition, in order to support investors in stepping up investment process, the 8th session of the 5th provincial People's Council has adopted the refund for land rent on account to encourage investors.

It's possible to say that the above policies can partly solve current difficulties in capital for investors, and hastening executing process of the projects in Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula Tourist Area.
