The total food yield of Dien Khanh District so far this year has reached 48,098 tons, 88.95% of the year’s target. The Winter - Spring rice crop was grown on an area of 4,397 hectares with average productivity of 66.7 quintals/ha while the Summer – Autumn rice crop was on 3,916 hectares. The total area of perennial plants has been 12,260 hectares, 95.9% of the year’s target.
The district has done agriculture encouraging programs, especially testing new varieties.
