The area of raising shrimps in Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province has reached 646 hectares, including 128 hectares of sugpo prawns and 518 hectares of white-leg shrimps.
White-leg shrimps are raised mainly in Ninh Ha, Ninh Diem, Ninh Phu, Ninh Tho and Ninh Loc.
The provincial Aquaculture Branch has collected some shrimp samples for tests under a program of supervising diseases on aquatic products.
