10 communes of Khanh Hoa Province registering to qualified for New Rural Area in 2014 have been hit most standards, according to reports of localities in the province. Some other standards such as schools and cultural infrastructures are expected to be fulfilled in December.
In 2015, the province will pour VND129.9 billion to build 11 other communes in the province to become new urban areas, namely Van Luong, Van Hung (in Van Ninh District, Ninh Phung (in Ninh Hoa Town), Dien Tho, Dien Lam (in Dien Khanh District), Cam Tan, Cam Hiep Nam (in Cam Lam District), Cam Thinh Dong, Cam Lap (in Cam Ranh City), Vinh Trung and Vinh Thanh (in Nha Trang).
