November’s consumer price index (CPI) of Khanh Hoa Province decreased by 0.19% over last month. The urban areas saw a 0.19% fall while the rural ones made a 0.2% drop. Specifically, food group made went down by 0.16%; traffic group: 2.78% down, housing – electricity – water – fuels and building materials: 0.75% down.
Some groups with light decrease in CPI were garment – headwear – footwear (0.58% up), home appliances (0.52% up), medicine – health services (0.02% up), culture – entertainmant – tourist services (0.59% up) and other goods and services (0.11% up).

The CPI is forecast to go up by 0.2% - 0.3% in December because the demand for essential commodities will rise in the rainy season.
