Industrial production index (IPI) of Vietnam in November rose by 5.3% over that in October and by 11.1% in comparison with the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office under the Ministry of Planning and Investment. This has been the sharpest year-on-year increase of IPI during the past nine months.

Some production industries with remarkable increase were electronics, computers, optical products, engine vehicles, leather and textile. Some industries with little rise or fall in IPI were water exploitation, treatment and supply, food process and production, electric equipment production, medicine, etc.
