According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam’ tea export may reach140,000 – 145,000 tons, getting USD245 million in turnover. Pakistan keeps being the biggest team importer of Vietnam.
With a population of almost 200 million and a long-standing tea culture, Pakistan has been Vietnam’s largest tea export market in recent years, buying an increasing amount of Vietnamese tea. Its average turnover is over USD40 million/year, making up 20% in the total tea export turnover of Vietnam.
