A park of culture, entertainment and sport named Nha Trang Sao started construction in Pham Van Dong Street, Nha Trang on October 31. Nguyen Chien Thang, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, attended the construction start-up ceremony. According to President and CEO of the company Ngo Phi Hung, the project covers an area of 103,568 sq.m., including 44,152 sq.m. on land and 59,416 sq.m. on water surface. It features works on the ground and underground. On the ground, there will be a park, a coffee shop, canoe wharf, sea sports, a 4-star beach, a 4-floor hotel with 339 rooms. The underground area includes a coffee, a restaurant, a fast-food store, a bar, a karaoke lounge, a dancing club, a 3D cinema.
The project comprises two stages. The first one, building the hotel and the seaside area, is expected to be finished in end 2015, and the last one, including the park, cano wharf and underground sector, is scheduled in end 2016.
The project will be invested USD33 million in total.
