To better life and socioeconomic development of remote areas in Khanh Hoa Province, so far this year, Khanh Hoa Power Company has carried out many works to supply as well as upgrade power in districts Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh, Cam Lam and Dien Khanh.
Right from the beginning of the year, leaders of Khanh Hoa Power Company has proposed measures to ensure stable power supply for users in the province, lessen electrical energy loss and enhance customers’ trust in the company. Expanding and upgrading power supply system for remote areas has been focused on. Up to now, the company has invested in many new articles and upgraded some old ones aim to ensure long-term and stable electricity supply.

Specifically, the company has finished the first stage of the work on completing and preventing overcharge for grids of Dien Khanh District and Khanh Vinh District. The company also has built a new transformer station with a capacity of 50kVA in Dien Loc Commune, Dien Khanh District, and added a medium-tension line with 700m in length to better power supply for neighboring areas. In addition, 5 transformer stations in communes Dien Phu, Dien Dong and Dien Lam have been raised capacity; and a low-tension grid with 0.4kV wire, 1000m long, has been completed.
In Khanh Son District, the company has also invested in a work of completing and preventing overcharge for the local grid. Its first stage comprises articles as follows: building 3 new transformer stations with a totally added capacity of 412.5kVA, upgrading 7 transformer stations, etc. In its second stage, the company continues setting up 1,712 meters of 0.4kV wire and 400 meters of 0.2kV wire. Total investment in the work for the two stages is VND6.4 billion.
Recently, Central Power Corporation has adopted a small project of improving grid in Ninh Hoa Town. The project, invested with over VND121.4 billion by Central Power Corporation, includes articles such as building and bettering 60,609 meters of medium-tension wire and 145,500 meters of low-tension wire, building and moving 22 transformer stations, adding 14,500 meters of bolt-stainless wire, etc.
In Cam Lam District, some projects to upgrade as well as build transformer stations and put up power poles have also been done.
According to Nguyen Cao Ky, general director of Khanh Hoa Power Company, with the aim to ensure power supply and prevent partial power lack, the company will intensify building and upgrading power supplying works in needy areas more, bettering the people’s life and local production.
