According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the country so far this year has imported 9.4 tons of steel worth USD6.2 billion, increasing by 18.16% in quantity and by 11.07% in value year-on-year.
Retail steel price has been in the main stable. At present, in the Northern and Central regions, the price fluctuates from VND15,400 – VND16,000/kg; in the Southern provinces, it is from VND15,300 – VND15,900/kg.
