In 2014, Van Phong Economic Zone licensed 14 projects with total registered investment of USD58 million, higher than the figures of 7 projects and USD41.3 million in 2013. Accordingly, the economic zone so far has attracted 139 projects with total registered investment of USD12.7 billion. 60 of them have been put into operation. Van Phong has set a target of drawing USD2 billion in investment for 2015.
