According to Tran Ngoc Hieu, Chairman of Ninh Giang Ward Farmers’ Association (in Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province), the flower village reached over VND13 billion in turnover of flowers, with VND6.5 billion in net interest during the flower crop for the Lunar New Year. This has been the biggest interest so far.
During the flower crop, the weather is favorable for flowers. Ninh Giang flower village produced 155,000 pots of flowers, increasing by 5,000 pots over last year. Most of the flowers are yellow chrysanthemums. A pot of chrysanthemums were selling maximum at VND1.7 million, and minimum at VND80,000 million.
