According to Hon Ro Port Management Board, on this lunar new year time, anchovy yield has been higher than the same time last year. Specifically, from 16 to 24, February, on an average, three fishing boats carrying more than 2 tons of anchovies called at Hon Ro Port a day. With a larger number of anchovies this year, fishermen did fishing continuously, then sold them to traders right at sea with the price of VND10,000/kg.
Most of the anchovies were resold to fish sauce producers in Phuoc Long Ward and Vinh Truong Ward, Nha Trang.
