CPI rises again

First in the year, March Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Vietnam has risen again slightly by 0.15% over that in February, according to the General Statistics Office.

 

Accounting for the rise in CPI is the increases in petroleum price from March 11 and in electricity price from March 16.

 

 

Food service group has gone up by 0.36%. Some groups such as health service and education service have made no change. March also sees 4 groups with decrease in CPI, including traffic (0.31%), drinks and cigarettes (0.11%), garment – footwear – headwear (0.04%), and other commodities and services (0.01%).
