From the sixth day of the lunar new year (February 24) till now, every day there are about 10 fishing boats landing Hon Ro Port (in Nha Trang). These boats went fishing during the Lunar New Year holiday (Tet). Each boat fished 20 – 70 tunas, with 1.5 - 4 tons in total weight. Tunas were purchased right at the port with prices of VND90,000 – VND100,000/kilogram.

After the fifteenth day of the lunar new year (March 5), about 40 boats are expected to leave Hon Ro Port to start their offshore fishing voyage each day.
