Consumer Price Index (CPI) of the whole country in April has risen by 0.14% over last month and by 0.99% year-on-year, according to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam.

Among 11 groups of goods, traffic group made the highest rise in CPI with 2.47%, followed by the group of housing - building materials with 0.84%. Other groups increasing by 0.01% - 0.31% in CPI are garment – headwear – footwear, home appliances - equipment, medicine - health service, education, and culture – entertainment – tourism.
Three groups making decrease in CPI are post- telecommunications, food service, and drinks – cigarettes.
