Up to now, Khanh Hoa Province has harvested more than 8,000 hectares of rice of the Winter – Spring crop with the average productivity of 60 quintals/hectare.

Because the burning hot weather was long and water amount in reservoirs was enough for sowing, the area of Winter – Spring rice reached only 19,840 hectares, fulfilling 97.6% of the target.
Now, 1,289 hectares of rice in the province need to be added water to prevent drought.
