At the beginning of the crop, purple sugarcane was selling from VND20 million/pole to VND28 million/pole. However, the rainy weather these days has pulled purple sugarcane price down to VND16 – 17 million/pole.
In general, purple sugarcane price this year is still higher than that last year.
