One more modern urban area to be built up in Nha Trang

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has ratified Detail Planning of Nha Trang Urban Area of Tourism – Finance – Service – Commerce. Accordingly, former Nha Trang Airport will be built to become an urban area with commercial centers and urban infrastructures of international statures.

 

The ceremony announcing the golden land of Nha Trang Airport and some real estate projects in the fourth quarter of 2015 recently held in Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel has attracted more than 600 experts and investors in the country. The most remarkable project is Nha Trang Urban Area of Tourism – Finance – Service – Commerce, which will be located on the land of former Nha Trang Airport.

According to the ratified planning, a complex with full of items such as commerce, services, parks, and museums will be built on 186 hectares of the land. On 10 hectares opposite to Thanh Nien Park, a square named Ocean, a museum and exhibition center will be formed. The exhibition center will display document and images related to history and culture of Khanh Hoa Province.The Ocean Square will be a place for big historical and cultural event of the province.

 

The center area will have 6 commercial centers, each of which is 2 hectares in area and 30 – 40 floors in height. They will include offices for lease, service centers, linked houses, parks, green trees and walking streets. Schools at all levels also will be built.

 

Especially, 19% of the land will be plots for houses. Their prices may fluctuate from VND30 million/m2 to VND100 million/m2 for 100 – 300m2/plot, revealed Van Dung Chinh, director of Cat Loi Real Estate Exchange.

 

Up to now, at least 4 businesses have registered to become the investor of the project. However, the provincial People’s Committee has allotted 62 hectares to Phuc Son Group JSC to execute the first stage of the project.

 

The project promises to be attractive to real estate investors in Nha Trang as well as the whole country, especially in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The project is expected to heat up the property market in Nha Trang in 2016 and at least the five following years.
