1,400 hectares of waterless paddy land in Khanh Hoa Province has been changed to other crop plants, including corn (1,000 hectares), peanut (120 hectares) and other kinds of peas (180 hectares), according the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Recently, from the national reserve, the province has supported 10 tons of corn seeds and 1.68 tons of vegetable seeds for places damaged by the drought. Additional, VND19.4 billion of the State budget has been funded for the places to buy seeds.
