To attract more investment and raise production and trade, management board of Van Phong Economic Zone has actively solved difficulties for enterprises.
In 2015, Van Phong Economic Zone’s management board has finished infrastructures for important projects in the south of Van Phong, including Xom Quan Resettement Area and some traffic roads. In the north of Van Phong, the management board has completed investment procedures to start contruction two big traffic projects, including the road from National Road 1A to Dam Mon (in Van Thanh Commune, Van Ninh District) and the road beyond Dam Mon Port. Besides, the management board also acted as a counselor for the provincial People’s Committee and the provincial Party Committee in the project of Northern Van Phong Special Economic Zone submitted to the Government.
“In 2015, overcoming a lot of difficulties caused by the global economic crisis, many enterprises in Van Phong Economic Zone has recovered and continued production and trade. Despite low production value, many enterprises signed contracts to maintain operation and create jobs for laborers”, said Hoang Dinh Phi, deputy manager of Van Phong Economic Zone management board.
