Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Khanh Hoa Province in January 1, 2016 has decreased by 0.08% over the previous month but has increased by 0.89% year-on-year. The urban areas have seen the decrease of 0.05% in CPI while the rural areas have fallen by 0.11%.

5 of 11 main groups of goods and services have made increase in CPI, including dining-out food and services (0.16% up), drinks and cigarettes (1.84% up), home appliances and equipment (0.03% up), culture – entertainment and tourism (0.34% up), and other goods and services (0.03% up). Traffic group has decreased by 3.19%. CPI of other groups in January remains unchanged.
The decrease of January CPI is owning to the reduction in petroleum prices on December 18, 2015 and January 4, 2016.
