Intensifying unscheduled inspections on food safety in agriculture

According to the provincial Agricultural, Forest and Fishery Product Quality Management Branch, inspections will be intensified in 2016. The frequent inspections aim to discover violations in producing, processing and trading agricultural products. Beside punishing violators, inspectors show them what they do wrong and how to correct.

Moreover, in 2016, the whole province will set up 10 spots selling safe farm products. At present, two safe vegetable selling places, including one in Co.opmart and another in Ninh Dong Commune, Ninh Hoa Town.

In breeding, unscheduled inspections will be carried out on foodstuff, veterinary, etc. In agriculture, farm and forest product processing, farming, fertilizers, pesticides, etc. will be paid attention. Inspections on food safety will be intensified at places where food is produced, processed, imported and traded. Violations in food safety will be punished strictly.
