Creating bridge between enterprises and consumers by bringing products to rural areas

In 2016, Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade and Industry Promotion Center will organize four fairs to bring Vietnamese products to the rural areas in the province. These market days are an important bridge to connect enterprises, distributors and consumers.
 

In 2016, Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade and Industry Promotion Center will organize four fairs to bring Vietnamese products to the rural areas in the province. These market days are an important bridge to connect enterprises, distributors and consumers.
 
Many enterprises and distributors have actively participated in the market days bringing products to rural areas held by the center. According to the enterprises, joining the fairs has helped them to promote their products; find out consumers’ demand; develop distribution network and promote trading. These market days have also offered consumers good opportunity to identify the authentic products in order to avoid buying fake ones.

According to Vo Dinh Thoai, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade and Industry Promotion Center, the market days bringing Vietnamese products to rural areas have been held in response to the campaign “Vietnamese give priority to using Vietnamese goods” to help people in rural and mountainous areas to access quality products at reasonable prices.
 
 
In order to carry out the project “Helping province’s enterprises to join exhibition fairs in and outside province”, the center recently held two joint stalls at the International Trade Fair in Thua Thien Hue Province. In the third quarter, the center planed to hold four joint stalls in Quang Ngai, selling items such as fine art wooden products, sauce, caulerpa lentillifera, clothes, shoes, and so on.
 
The center will associate with some enterprises in and outside province to hold market days selling Vietnamese products in Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Son District, Van Ninh District and Ninh Hoa Town. These market days will gather many reputable units as well as enterprises and co-operatives which supply services and products to the ethnic people in the mountainous areas. The participating units will receive financial support for transport (based on the policy) and other expenditures (100%) to hold the market play. The products sold at the market plays include quality Vietnamese merchandise like household appliances, processed food, cosmetics, clothes, and shoes, etc.
 
According to Vo Dinh Thoai, in order to carry out the campaign “Vietnamese give priority to using Vietnamese goods” more effectively, the enterprises need to intensify the branding activities to help the consumers to identify their products.
