At toy stores and bookstores, there are a lot of products which can be gifts for children on their special day.
All the stores say that purchase of products for kids these days sees 10% - 25% rise. Do Cu Nhan, deputy director of Khanh Hoa Book Distribution Joint Stock Company, revealed, “Our customers have risen by 30% in May. Products selling well are notebooks, school things, picture books, shape puzzle toys, souvenirs, etc. In addition, orders from organizations and businesses buying for their staff’s children on the International Children’s Day also made 10% increase.
On this occasion, many businesses also have launched promotions for children. For example, Khanh Hoa Book Distribution Joint Stock Company offers 5% - 20% discount on school bags; 5% discount on notebooks, etc. Especially, from May 30 to June 1, the company will give balloons and confectionary to children who come to its 8 bookstores.
Co.opmart Nha Trang also has a big promotion program. Specifically, from May 16 to June 1, the supermarkets offers 25% - 30% discount on clothes and footwears for kids and same prices for hundreds of toys. On May 31 and June 1, the supermarket will give candies to buyers with bills from VND400,000 and a lovely water bottle for bills from VND800,000.
At Big C Nha Trang, 10% - 50% discounts are given to many products such as diapers, clothes, pillows, milk and toys.

Many interesting activities
There are also a lot of services for children on this occasion. Champa Island Resort Hotel & Spa will organize a program with music show, puppet show and magic show at 6:30 pm, June 1. Especially, on June 1, there will be no admission charge for children at playgrounds of Champa Garden and Apsara Café.
At Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel & Spa, there will be a kid corner at Feast Restaurant with games and slides, a chocolate station and take home gifts for children. Children under 12 with paying parents will be free.
On May 30 evening, at the provincial Children’s House, there will be a free music show.
