According to Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, 12 communes in the province have fulfilled all 19 norms of new rural areas, namely Ninh Phung, Vinh Hiep, Vinh Ngoc, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Trung, Dien Phuoc, Dien Lac, Dien An, Dien Phu, Dien Tho, Dien Son and Cam Hai Tay. 14 communes are qualified for 15 – 18 norms; 35 communes: 10 – 14 norms; and 33 communes: 5 – 9 norms.

As expected, 28 communes in the province will satisfy all standards of new rural areas at the end of the year.
