Halloween is coming. Its atmosphere can be seen in Nha Trang these days. It’s easy to find out abundant products for Halloween available in Nha Trang to prepare for a impressive masquerade night.

 

 

In some streets of the city like Nguyen Trai, Ngo Gia Tu, Thong Nhat, etc., there are many shops selling  costumes and terrifying decorations for Halloween. Shop sellers revealed that decorations for Halloween have sold well right from the early month, mainly for foreigners, restaurants and café. They often buy cobwebs, blood masks, overcoats, bones, etc. These days, young people in Nha Trang are shopping things for masquerade and decoration for Halloween. This year, Halloween products see 5% - 10% increase in their price in comparison with last year. For example, a blood mask costs from VND90,000 to VND120,000; a lighted pumpkin is selling from VND50,000 – VND280,000; a luminous skeleton is priced from VND150,000 – VND250,000, etc.

 

 

 

Phuong Nam Bookstore (at 17 Thai Nguyen Street, Nha Trang) has set up a section only for Halloween products. Nguyen Thanh Hung, director of the bookstore, said that, “Sales of Halloween products this year have increased sharply over last year. Our bookstores have sold more than 200 products up to now. Best-selling products are blood masks, witch hats, miraculous sticks, etc. Each of them costs VND80,000 – VND150,000.” 

 

There are also lovely cosplay things like princess, little mermaid, fairytale characters, animals, etc. in Halloween market in Nha Trang this year.

 

Some young people like to make Halloween masquerade things for themselves. Hoang Thu Minh, a young person in Nha Trang, shared, “My groups join masquerades every Halloween. Not like previous years, we themselves are making our masquerade costumes by white or black material, carton, colorful paints, etc. to design unique costumes for the coming Halloween masquerade.”
