Difficulties solved
According to Dang Thi Thu Nguyet, head of representative office of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Khanh Hoa, one of difficulties to businesses was administrative formalities. Khanh Hoa Province has gradually solved the difficulties to facilitate investors and contribute the local socioeconomic development.
Pham Duy Hung, director of Khanh Hoa Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company, comments that the provincial Department of Planning and Investment has reformed its administrative formalities well by cutting superfluous formalities to save time for businesses and facilitate them in business registration. The provincial Department of National Resources and Environment has disclosed information about land. Many investors also appreciate friendly attitude of this department to businesses.
Tran Minh Hai, Deputy director of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment also said that investment environment of the province has become much better. All the projects have been supported in administrative formalities for investors to put them into operation in a short time.

Improving investment environment
| In the first nine months of 2016, 1,458 new businesses registered to establish in Khanh Hoa Province (31.12% increase year-on-year), with total registered investment of VND12,772 billion (131% rise year-on-year). 5 foreign invested projects were granted certificate with total registered investment of USD5.76 million. According to statistics in September, 2016, Khanh Hoa has 14,037 registered businesses, 11,885 of which are in operation, 363 of which have ceased operation and 2,158 have been dissolved. |
The provincial People’s Committee has organized meetings with businesses to understand their difficulties. The provincial People’s Committee directed the departments and local authorities to solve for businesses right at the meetings. All comments by document and via phone were collected and submitted to the provincial People’s Committee.
From June to now, the provincial People’s Committee has enforced many documents to facilitates businesses, for example, Action program to support businesses dated on June 22, Coordination regulations in solving problems for businesses dated July 4, Document to concretize Resolution 35 on supporting and developing businesses.
“Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has developed a software to follow and warn the province’s departments and localities to solve petitions of businesses. They also have to make monthly reports on unsolved cases to the provincial People’s Committee in order to have better solutions”, said Standing Vice-chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Son Hai.
