On October 24, a group of consultant experts from the World Bank had a meeting with Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Finance to find out about the local finance, information about projects as well as demands for urban infrastructure construction in the province.

At the meeting, representatives from the provincial Department of Finance and the provincial Department of Planning and Investment presented the budget, investment and capital demand of the province. Accordingly, Khanh Hoa needs big capital for the province’s urban development, projects of traffic, water supply, etc. At present in Khanh Hoa, there are 600 projects in tourism and industry.
The consultant experts from the World Bank also will meet with some other provincial departments, including Planning and Investment, Transport, and Natural Resources and Environment to survey.
Reportedly, the Ministry of Finance and the World Bank are jointly surveying for the City Infrastructure Financing Facility (CIFF) project to support medium and long-term capital for cities and provinces to build infrastructures. Therefore, the World Bank has been carrying out surveys in localities.
