Efforts for 2017 targets

In 2016, Customs Department of Khanh Hoa Province made positive marks with total revenue achieving 201.65% of the estimate and increasing by 60% over 2015. This is an important premise for the department to do the task in 2017.

In 2016, Customs Department of Khanh Hoa Province made positive marks with total revenue achieving 201.65% of the estimate and increasing by 60% over 2015. This is an important premise for the department to do the task in 2017.

 

According to Phan Thanh Son, the deputy director of the provincial Customs Department, to reach the target of the State budget revenue, the department has carried out a lot of measures comprehensively such as speeding up subordinate units, solving difficulties for enterprises, checking after container lifting, fighting trade fraud and so on.

 

With the good efforts, total State budget revenue of the provincial Customs Department in 2016 reached VND5,847.9 billion (achieving 201.65% of the target alloted by the General Department of Vietnam Customs), including VND5,426 billion from petroleum import – export (making up 92.8% of the sum and increasing by 65% over 2015. The results went above the required figures.

In 2017, the target of customs revenue the provincial Customs Department set is VND4,775 billion.

 

“As planned, Customs Department of Khanh Hoa Province will step up reforming customs formalities and tax management formalities to facilitate import and export, solving difficulties related to customs formalities, goods managing policies, tax policies, etc.”, said Phan Thanh Son.

 

In addition, the department will attach importance to anti-smuggling and trade fraud. The provincial Customs Department also will coordinate with banks to make tax collection easier…
