On the occasion of Vietnam Fishery Day (April 1), on March 31, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development released 2 million breeding prawns and 18,500 breeding fish in Nha Phu Swamp, Nha Trang. Nearly 200 Youth unionists and representatives from 24 fishery businesses took part in the event.

The released breeders were donated by 24 fishery businesses, 6 fisheries trade unions and more than 200 fishing boat owners in the province. The breeders cost VND200 million in total.
This annual activity also aims to propagandize to raise the awareness of reproducing fisheries and protect environment.
