Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Le Duc Vinh on May 16 presided over a meeting about the project of KN Van Ninh Solar Power Plant.
The project will be invested VND2,400 billion by KN Van Ninh Co., Ltd. The plant is expected to have total capacity of 100MW, producing 160 million kWh each year. The location for the project is defined to be 200 hectares in Xuan Tay Hamlet, Van Hung Commune, Van Ninh District.
In the conclusion at the meeting, Le Duc Vinh asked the investors and related agencies to complete the project procedure to submit to the provincial People’s Committee for policy agreement.
To solar power projects with over 50MW in capacity, after People’s Committee at provincial level agrees on policy, its application will be forwarded to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to consider and verify before submitting to the Prime Minister.
