Real estate market in Khanh Hoa Province is absorbing a large amount of credit capital.
 
Lending for real estate rising
 
Pouring a lot of projects like luxury apartment building Gold Coast, apartment building PH Complex Nha Trang, project of HUD, Nam Vinh Hai urban area, projects of VCN Investment Joint Stock Company, etc., credit balance in real estate of Vietcombank Khanh Hoa has raised to VND2,382 billion, making up 30% total credit of the branch. Credit balance in real estate of Vietcombank Nha Trang also makes up about 35% of its total amount. The bank branch has recently provide credit for clients of some projects like  apartment building of VCN, Duong Sat, An Binh, An Thinh, Hoang Quan, etc. The bank branch also gives loans to individuals and businesses to build 2-3 star hotels in the province. In BIDV Khanh Hoa, credit balance of real estate has also reached VND300 billion…
 
Verifying borrowers and projects carefully
 
According to Vo Thi Thu Huong, deputy director of Vietcombank Khanh Hoa, credit balance in real estate has risen, but the bank branch has controlled the quality of credit well. To ensure safety for lending, Vietcombank Khanh Hoa defines verifying capacity of borrowers is the leading factor to decide lending. The bank branch determines the loans reasonably to restrict risks. In addition, the bank branch always updates the market situations. 
 
According to Nguyen Thi Khanh, the customer manager of Vietcombank Nha Trang, quality of credit for real estate is rather good. There’s no bad debt. The bank branch also pays attention to verifying projects in their legality, effectiveness, economic potentials as well as experience of investors. Real estate market of Nha Trang is on the sharp rise. BIDV Nha Trang still continues to supply loans for qualified projects.
 
According to Nguyen Hoai Chieu, director of the State Bank – Khanh Hoa Branch, the banking focuses on control credit in the province. Till end May, credit balance hit VND6,683 billion, increasing by 9.94%; credit distribution was suitable with the economic development orientation of the province. Of the sum, credit for tourism, service and trading made up 63.44%; industry and construction made up 28.56%...Credit for real estate made up 45.23% of the total. The rate is under control of the State Bank and far lower than the figures of 9 – 10 % in previous time.
