Steinsvik Co. Ltd, fully owned by Steinsvik Group AS in Norway, established in 2012, based in Suoi Dau Industrial Zone, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province. The factory are an important part of the international commitment of Steinsvik Group AS, to deliver high quality products to the maritime, oil and gas market and the international aquaculture industry. Steinsvik Group delivers products such as CCTV systems, ship cameras, bridge consoles for the maritime market and underwater cameras and auto-feeding systems for aquaculture.
At start, the company had four workshops built on an area of 1.1 hectares and a staff of 60. The workshop was invested with more than USD8 million then. The company’s products were exported to Norway, Australia, Korea, etc. The company enriched products in oil gas industry, aquaculture and maritime. The company delivered contribution to the local State budget.
In October, 2016, Steinsvik Co., Ltd. put new workshops into operation. The new workshops, built on about 10,000 sq.m. and equipped with modern machines, was invested with USD2 million, raising the total investment in workshops to USD10 million. Current manufacturing capacity of the company is about 1,500 tons of products/year.

According to Steinsvik Co., Ltd.’s leadership, the company now has a professional organization apparatus with a staff of 200. The company also is linking with vocational training schools to recruit well-trained workers as well as supporting the schools in professional programs. The company also has business relationships with about 50 local and foreign enterprises that are clients and suppliers.

According to the leadership of Suoi Dau Industrial Zone, foreign direct investment (FDI) companies make up 50% of the total enterprises in the industrial zone. With efforts of the companies as well as the industrial zone, the production is very advantageous. “Our company is in good operation now. This is a successful year as the export is made regularly. I expect that the company will succeed more in the future”, said John Harail Log.
