Under the direction of Nguyen Tan Tuan – Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, the Center of Hi-tech Agriculture (under the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) has supported 2.5 tons of ML202 rice seeds for ethnic minority people in three hamlets Suoi Lau 1, 2 and 3, Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District for the production on 33.3 hectares in total.
Previously, people in the three hamlet grew bad-quality rice varieties, therefore their productivity was only about 40 quintals/hectare, then their living was difficult.
