Starting construction for 10 months (since September, 2016), the international terminal project at Cam Ranh International Airport has fulfilling 50% of its volume.

According to Phan Le Hoan, director of Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, to up now, the body of the terminal with 50,000 sq.m. in area has been finished. Roads are in execution. The roof is scheduled to be finished in September.

The progress is 50 days later than its plan. The reason was the rainy weather in the beginning of the construction in end 2016. In 2017, the better weather has stepped up the execution. Moreover, this is a significant and complicated  project; therefore, technical design needs to be verified carefully. However, the investors appreciate the process are going well. In the coming time, the investors will urge contractors, engineering consultant companies and construction consultant companies to speed up the progress more. The work is expected to be finished in March, 2018 and put into trial operation in April, 2018.
