The whole Khanh Hoa Province so far has harvested 18,270 hectares of the summer – autumn crop with 57.35 quintals/hectare in productivity. Total production is 104,784 tons. Farmers have also sowed 2,000 hectares of tenth-month rice.
The province’s annual plant area for 9 months was 76,221 hectares, fulfilling 95% of the year’s target. In comparison with the same period last year, total sowing area has risen by 6.5%.
464 hectares of poor rice crop has been changed into annual plants and fruit plants.
