Five out of 11 goods and service groups having increase in CPI were dining-out food and services (0.31% up), housing and building material (0.65%), traffic (1.71%), educations (1.37%), and other goods and service (0.02%). Home equipment and appliance decreased by 0.06% in CPI. Other groups had no changes in prices.
The rise in September CPI was mainly due to the increase in petroleum price. Gas price made an increase of VND16,000/12kg tank.
